I’ve lived in Cambridge for 16 years taking care of our inground pool (estimated at 18,000 gallons). I did most of the work myself, only reaching out to Clear Water Pools in Greenwich NY a few times for a new vinyl liner and skimmer line replacement. After seeing it done, I think I could do the same work myself. http://www.clearwaterpoolsofny.com/ has since closed shop.
I’ve personally done the following and am offering my services to others:
Water chemistry balance
Pool cleaning and vacuuming
Shocking with liquid chlorine or granules
Filter backwashing
Pool opening/closing
Pool solar blanket replacement
Sand filter media replacement
Pool pump motor replacement
PVC pipe leak fixing
Pump motor bearing replacement
Pump water seal replacement
Ozone generator replacement
Electrical relay replacement on control circuit board
Spa cover lift arm installation
Spa 220 volt electrical installation
Build spa steps with 5/4 decking
If I haven’t done it, I’ll research it and try to provide a reasonable estimate or referral.
